Originally featured on both a Kyrie 3 and a Dunk, the Kyrie 7 'Roswell Rayguns' draws from a 2002 Nike basketball ad campaign that featured the fictional ABA team the Roswell Rayguns. As a result, the shoe's layered mesh upper sports the team's colors, with a Rayguns graphic on the leather heel. Underfoot, the midsole incorporates Air Zoom Turbo for cushioning, giving way to a curved rubber outsole in contrasting white for traction.
